Introduction to Dog Grooming Taster Day
Come and be part of our team for a day and learn the following general grooming techniques:
- Brushing, Combing & De-Matting
- Bathing, Fluff Drying & Blasting
- Ear Care, Nail Care, Teeth Care, Anal Gland Care
- Clipping
- Safe Handling & Relevant Behaviour Techniques
This course is designed for people wishing to have a taster of dog grooming before they make a decision to book onto a longer course.
Learn To Groom Your Own Dog
This course is usually just over half a day. It is an intensive course where you learn everything you need to know to carry out a full groom & style on your own dog, taught on a one to one basis. You will learn the same techniques as in the taster day including:
- Styling – using scissoring, thinning or hand stripping where appropriate
Student scissor starter kits are available for free loan for the day or can be purchased for £95 on the day. They include 7 inch straight scissors and 6.5 inch thinning scissors.
Terms & Conditions: Full payment must be made upon booking. You are entitled to a 14 day cooling off period from the time of payment. A Cancellation fee of £25 will apply if you wish to cancel after the 14 day cooling off period. Cancellations are not accepted less than 48 hours before regardless of the cooling off period. You will not be entitled to any refund if you use the services paid for either during or after the 14 day cooling off period.
